Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 29, 2026

Font Pair Studio ("we," "this site") is a static website with no user accounts and no backend server collecting or storing your data. This page explains, plainly, what little data is involved in using it.

Data stored in your browser

This site uses your browser's local storage for two things: a list of fonts you've saved as favorites, and your light/dark theme preference. Both are stored only on your own device. Neither is transmitted to us, to a server, or to any third party — there is no server for it to be sent to. Clearing your browser's site data for fontpairstudio.com removes it completely.

Cookies

This site does not set tracking or advertising cookies. If that changes in the future — for example, if basic, privacy-respecting usage analytics are added to understand which pages are useful — this policy will be updated to reflect it before any such change takes effect.

Third-party font loading

When you preview a font pairing, your browser requests the font files directly from Google Fonts' servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com), not from us. That request is subject to Google's own privacy practices, not this site's — seeGoogle's Privacy Policyfor details on how Google handles font requests.

Hosting logs

Like virtually any website, our hosting provider may log basic technical information for security and reliability purposes — things like IP address, browser type, and request timestamps. This is standard infrastructure-level logging, not something this site actively collects, reads, or uses to identify individual visitors.

Children's privacy

This site does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information from anyone at all — there is no sign-up form and no database of user accounts.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for instance, if analytics or a contact form with server-side handling are added later — the "last updated" date above will change, and the new policy will describe exactly what changed and why.
